Abstract
We investigated how proprioceptive input influences the hip joint in healthy subjects in a weight-bearing task. We found that weight bearing on the lower limbs increased while standing with the eyes closed, which show that the change in weight bearing was largely affected by sensory input associated with the movement of the hip joint.
