Abstract

"Psychology Education" is discussed in the field of psychology recently. It means "what and how to teach psychology in University for general and students specialized in psychology". In the field of the Japanese language teaching, "psychology" is included in Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test. But there is few studies about "Psychology Education" in the Japanese language teaching. "Psychology Education" has three meaning in the Japanese language teaching field, for teachers, students who study the Japanese language teaching and learners of Japanese language. This paper aims to discuss "Psychology Education" in the field of the Japanese language teaching especially post-graduate education of teaching. "Psychology Education" is important to gain cognitive and metacognitive knowledge for "self development". But "how to teach psychology" needs more discussion.
