Abstract
This presentation aims to give an overview of the Business Etiquette class, which was held as one of the optional courses in the Japanese language school. The course (one class approximately 90 minutes, total 6 classes) lasted approximately 3 months in each term, and in 2015 had 89 attendees, including 4 regular students. The class plan included real world business simulations and extensive use of honorifics. This presentation provides an overall description of the classes and the state of learners during the lectures. We additionally interviewed learners, who got employed after attending the course, and obtained information regarding the class contents, which were applied in society, as well as, suggestions for class improvement.
