Abstract
This paper introduces reading material focused on promoting metacognitive ability. The material is designed for undergraduate international students. It encourages students to practice utilizing metacognition when reading, such as thinking about their own reading goals, monitoring their comprehension or way of reading, figuring out how to solve problems when needed, and evaluating their understanding or their use of strategies after reading. The purpose of the material is to help students increase metacognitive abilities and adapt their learning to new contexts or tasks they encounter in their academic courses.
