Abstract
This paper discusses the acquisition process and the difficulties encountered by Chinese learners when they learn the aspect expressions of Japanese language in which “Teiru” and “Tearu” are used to symbolize “the persistence of results”. Studies show that "Teiru" is stable for both intermediate and advanced learners. However, “Tearu” is restrained by “Teiru” and influenced by “(ra)reteiru” regardless of Japanese level.
