Abstract
Ehime Prefecture exhibits significant regional disparities in topography, climate, and industry. Consequently, many areas face difficulties accessing Japanese language classes, with a notable shortage of volunteer instructors for existing classes. In response to these challenges, the Ehime Prefecture International Center has been conducting online Japanese language classes since 2020. This paper reviews the achievements and challenges of these efforts to date and discusses future strategies, focusing on "securing personnel" and "role division".
