Abstract
This study examined two native Vietnamese speakers with experience teaching Japanese at Vietnamese universities to identify the anxieties and difficulties they faced in teaching Japanese, as well as the coping actions they took to resolve those anxieties and difficulties. The results revealed that Vietnamese Japanese language teachers experience anxieties and difficulties regarding teaching methods, insufficient knowledge about Japanese language education, and career-related concerns. Furthermore, it was found that they cope with these anxieties and difficulties through utilizing personal and external resources.
