The long-term creep test with large specimen in-situ was carried out at the time from winter to spring when the movement of landslides was accelarated.
The results clarified that the specimens were ruptured by shearing at the stress state over the upper yield value in soil tests, which is less than one third of the shear strength and is nearly equal to the residual strength of the specimen. This fact suggests that the upper yield value is available for the stability analysis of slope to be crepe at landslide area.
