Local Distribution of Oral Staphylococci in feral House Mice

Abstract

Heterogeneity of oral staphylococcal compositions in feral house mice (Mus musculus molossinus) was found among adjacent localities on Saku Island, Aichi Prefecture. This heterogeneity comes probably from the behavior of mice. The results obtained indicate likely that mice scarcely migrate freely among localities in the season studied.
