Abstract
A telemetering system, Telesounder has been developed in several years ago. It consists of a base station and a underwater detecting station. The control signal is transmitted as radio wave by operating the base station and at the same time the ultrasonic wave is radiated into the water and received in the underwater detecting station which is located at sea far from the base station. In return the data signal obtained will be automatically transferred to the base station as radio wave and recorded in a chart recorder equipped in the base station.
This equipment has been applied to the practical fishery and extensively used for Set Net, Purse Seine and Two Boat Trawling, etc.
