The middle regions of breasts and backs of subjects were irradiated by artificial external qi emitted form a qi-generator made of a 80kHz quartz resonance system proposed previously by one of the authors, where this artificial external qi was named EQR (emission from quartz resonance). Changes in blood beat waves of the subjects were investigated before and after the irradiations by the EQR. The blood beat waves showed statistically significant changes (p<0.01) which suggest that the EQR affects autonomous nervous systems, while magnetic irradiations as a control experiment did not show statistically significant changes.
