Abstract
The amount of CO2 emission about information delivery was compared between the Internet information-delivery type newspaper and usual printed paper-delivery type newspaper by LCA method. Net-delivery newspapers can reduce CO2 emission if the amount of information printed out was less than 17 sheets of A4 size OA paper (4.8 pages of usual newspaper). Without printing, the CO2 emission of net-delivery newspapers are smaller than that of printed-paper delivery newspaper when browsing hours on desktop PC and notebook PC are less than 1.3 hours/day and 1.7 hours/day, respectively.
