Abstract
To study China's environmental issues several basic knowledges on her are required. They are government, policies, practices, population, economics, industries, technologies, sciences, educations etc. Natural environments such as geography, geology, climate, waters, animals, vege-tation etc. must be understood. This paper describes China's climate in brief for better understanding her and for a help on her environmental reserach. At first China's unique geography was analyzed and simmiarized in a table. Then, China is classified into 9 climates mainly by tempera-ture accumlation and one plateau climate. Each climate is defined and provinces are assigned. Monthly average temperature and precipitation of39 Chinese cities and 4 reference cities are summarized in a large table.Finally China's three particular climates and window are explained to some extent.
