Abstract

1. In the present note an approximate solution, obtained under a new idea of the non-linear differential equation of the wind in axial-symmetric cyclones and anticyclones is given. Comparing the sesult with the exact solution given by B. Haurwitz, we are satisfied of its exactness and know that it is more exact than the approximation given by Haurwitz after the perturbation method of V. Bjerknes.
2. Using the solution, we give the distribution of meteorological eleme_??_s in a model typhoon whose radial distribution of gradient wind is
where A=96×1025 C. G. S. and α=400km.
3. We postulate, _??_ new theory on the eye of typhoon based on our theory.
