In the magnetically induced super resolution, a rapid change in the readout signal was observed. The rapid change is explained by a domain collapse model. We proposed a new readout technique which utilizes the rapid change in the signal. The technique can reduce the readout jitters and enables high signal to noise ratio detection. Combination of mark position recording and a write-read channel with small detection window enables the high density recording of 0.5 μm/bit or less even if the carrier to noise ratio of the disk is not sufficiently high.
