Abstract
We have grown ferromagnetic MnSb thin films on (111), (110), and (100) Mn-Zn ferrite substrates by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). Epitaxial monocrystalline MnSb films with the growth plane of (0001) have been obtained on the (111) Mn-Zn ferrite substrates. The MnSb epitaxial films have shown in-plane alignment of [11-20] MnSb // [1-10] Mn-Zn ferrite. On the other hand, polycrystalline MnSb growth has been observed on (110) and (100) Mn-Zn ferrite substrates even under the same growth conditions.
