Abstract

This paper describes the chaotic behavior of Barkhausen noise. We previously revealed that Barkhausen noises under a rotational magnetic field were different from those under an alternating magnetic field, and showed that the heat fatigue level of Inconel-600 steel plates could be detected by using the proposed Barkhausen noises. In this paper, we examine the latter chaotic behavior in order to apply it to the estimation of the fatigue level of metallic structures.
