Evaluation of Prompt Neutron Spectra from Fission of Americium Isotopes

Abstract

Prompt neutron spectra for Am isotopes (²⁴¹ Am, ^242mAm, ²⁴³Am) were calculated on the basis of a modified version of the Madland-Nix model combined with multimodal fission model. The predicted spectra were found to be in fair agreement with recent data.
