JOIS-II Image Profiled by Researchers of the Technical College

Abstract

The Osaka Electro-Communication University Library introduced a chinese character terminal to utilize JOIS-II service in April, 1981. The lecture class for researchers was held to brief the use and others. The number of researchers who participated in it was 101 and it indicated 27.7% of the total researchers in this college. The participants handled the terminal using the search subjects of interest to them after the lecture to get accustomed to the on-line retrieval followed by answering the questionnaire on JOIS-II. Based on the results of the questionaaire the image which the researchers in a technical college held was profiled.
