The Outline of FSTA and Its Service by JOIS

Abstract

JOIS started the search service of FSTA (Food Science and Technology Abstracts) file in August of 1983. The author describes the outline of the File and how to use it in JOIS. The organization which prepares FSTA File, the subject areas to be covered, materials to be monitored, and data size are described. The search tags are discussed in detail by comparing the similar ones appeared in the printed Abstracts. The search examples are shown.
