Abstract
JICST activities on Japanese non-conventional literatures published by such public organizations, as governmental or local governmental bodies and other public-service corporations, are reviewed. Since the fiscal-year of 1984, JICST has been constructing a new database which provides bibliographic information on the above described literatures through the on-line network of JOIS, and assures accessibility for users to about 16,000 Japanese gray literatures up to April, 1988. Emphasis is focused on literature acquisition conducted by JICST and analyses of input ratio to the database by respective source-organization and subject fields.
