Abstract

One of the major subjects in promoting scientific and technological activities are how effectively limited resources should be utilized economically and socially, and how resource allocation should be optimized responding to contemporary needs. To execute the said subjects it is necessary to grasp scientific and technological activities from the various points, and measure them. The measured values are called science and technology indicators. The important matter in setting the indicators is to grasp scientific and technological cativities systematically. Only by selecting indicators following the systematization the present status of these activities can be grasped well balanced. This paper selects about 100 items as indicators, however, at the present moment about twenty items are available because of the limited source data.
