Abstract
The bank of the Shinkawa River, first-grade classified river collapsed by the Tokai-Storm before daybreak on September 12, 2000. The flood bore down on Nagoya Research Laboratory of Meito Sangyo Co., Ltd. soon. The flood reached about two meters as the maximum depth and inflicted the serious damages on various paper, FD, CD-ROM including precious experimental results in addition to buildings, production plants, various analysis devices and facilities for experimental animals. We introduce the damage and our experience regarding the restoration process. And we propose a method for crisis management on research laboratory.
