This article describes importance of observing from a vantage point to imagine a desirable system of an information resource provider. Each current system (e.g. digital libraries, digital archives, and institutional repositories) differs from a system which librarians, archivists or curators desire. There must be the system which is yet to be conceptualized. We define an organization that provides the system as a resource provider, and give viewpoints for reconsideration. The most important viewpoint is mental model of users.
