Abstract
Vectorcardiographic change were analysed in 165 patients with essential hypertension, Eighty-nine cases without cardiovascular disorders were studied as controls. The results have led to the following conclusion.
Magnitude of the spatial QRS maximum vector was increased and magnitude of the spatial T maximum vector was decreased according to the elevation of mean blood pressure.
Direction of the QRS maximum vector was shifted leftward and posteriorly and that of the T maximum vector was shifted anteriorly according to the elevation of mean blood pressure.
Spatial QRS-T angle was increased markedly in hypertensives.
Magnitude of the spatial QRS maximum vector tended to be small with the aging in hypertensives.
The T loop of young hypertensives was circular and large.
