Utilization of Road Register for GIS Base Map And Making Method of Drawings Using RTK-GPS Survey

Abstract

The usage method in GIS by digitalizing the road register formerly maintained as the paper was investigated. The easy and lower-cost method for maintaining new drawings using RTK-GPS survey was made in setting up the location reference points, and the usefulness of this method was certified. To establish the method for using existing road register, these data is used in GIS without loosing assets. And more, the way for maintaining GIS data using RTK-GPS survey was confirmed in lower cost than before.
