Abstract
This paper reports the advanced stage of the system that supports planners who wish to choose proper techniques for urban environment improvement projects. More than hundred techniques for these projects are set forth in Japan, therefore, it is not easy to work with this subject. We reported the first pilot system in the international meeting in Mumbai in 1997, and have been giving it much improvement since then. We have equipped more elaborate inference systems, visual supports and explanation functions with it.
