Abstract
Frame Accurate Animation (FAA) has been applied to construction management practices through our studies. As a result of these applications, important issues were detected as follows;(1) application effectiveness, (2) production techniques, and (3) specific purposes of using FAA. This paper introduces roles of using FAA as a tool of the management presentation, and illustrates the production techniques referring to description technique of movie and architectural CG applications. Moreover, this paper refers to the phase of construction management out of the project lifecycle. A case study was performed on an actual bridge construction project in Kumamoto, Japan.
