On the Planning Process of Tsukuba New Town after 1975

Abstract

This paper deals with the planning process in this decade, while the first stage construction had carried on. Considering the relation between Master Plan and these planning, we concluded as follows. 1. The planning of the central district had largely influenced by Master Plan and produced some realization in the direction to its goal. 2. The planning of the surrounding area had influenced by social circumstances and produced some industrial estates dispersedly. 3. Master Plan should be revised with examining changed circumstances and conditions of the New Town.
