Actual Analysis of Characteristics of Location Behavior of Logistics Centers in the Metropolitan Area from the aspect of Operating Cost

Abstract

In the case that imported shipping cargoes are handled in a logistics center located in the inland suburbs, the transportation seems complicated and inefficient. The purpose of this study is to reveal the characteristic of this complicated location behavior or logistics centers in waterfront or inland districts. In this cost analysis based on interviews, it is implicated that it is necessary to keep personnel expenses and rents low in waterfront districts to reduce complicated and inefficient transportation.
