Abstract
In this article, we develop the contiguity ratio for the three-dimensional land use pattern. The two-dimensional “join” count is extended and its mean and variance are computed for the statistical test. By simulation analysis using the indices, we investigate the effect of the sky deck onnecting the contiguous buildings. The result shows that the sky deck at the specific floor level strongly effects the agglomeration of the land use. The reverse inclination between ground floor and upper floor is also revealed.
