Abstract
This research clarified the notes in the practical use method of the school biotope in regional environmental study, and construction of a WebGIS site by case analysis. WebGIS for moreover supporting a biotope fixed point observation was built, and employment was evaluated in time of a lesson for the elementary school. In order to have performed joint study using WebGIS, it was shown clearly that it is necessary that it needs to be supported other than a teacher, and to prepare many teaching-materials data which should be compared. In response to it, the role of the Kyoto environmental preservation activity center which hits carrying out regional environmental study, a school, and a volunteer student was proposed.
