An Observation on Implementation of Urban Improvement Project Viewed from City Management of A Small Local Town

A Case Study of A Land Readjustment Project in Tamaho-cho, Yamanashi Prefecture

Abstract

This paper is a case study about an urban improvement project of a small local town. We explained a new trial of implementation of a land readjustment project in Tamaho-cho Yamanashi Prefecture. Firstly the trial was explained through describing the contents of the project on coherence and comprehensiveness of urban planning, techniques introduced, and financing & validity from the point of view of the city management. Secondly it was explained through describing implementation system that was employed in launching the conception, planning and practice of the project.
