Abstract
This study analyzed the organization of area management according to regional type which is performing the area management activities in the core areas of large cities with emphasis on the establishment background and characteristics, cooperation and network between organizations and areas. Main findings of this study are as follows: Firstly, various organizations are performing the role assignment through activity function and managing space mutually according to local situation; secondly, utilizing the public space by locally-owned entities as management space has shifted from the conventional publicity to new publicity; thirdly, the cooperation and network between the organization by platform are expected as new deployment of future area management. And finally, in order to aim at active deployment of area management, financial resource and evaluation method of activities need to be built.
