Abstract

In recent years, Wi-Fi packet sensors became a one of the tool to collect traffic data through the smartphone MAC adderess, the Wi-Fi packet sensor has many advantages, it has a disadvantage that it can’ observe the start and end points of trip, which is one of the important information in traffic behavior analysis. In this research, we aim at the construction of method of estimating the OD traffic volume of pedestrian in consideration of Wi-Fi packet sensor having such characteristics. In many local cities, various measures are taken to revitalize the central urban area, and the OD traffic volume of pedestrians is considered to be an effective basic data for the examination of these measures.
