Abstract

The coal mine city flourished in the coal industry, and settlements were formed mainly in coal mines. However, since the energy revolution in the 1960s, various problems have arisen in the formation of cities, such as population decline, etc. However, urban structures have been formed under a certain industry called coal industry. The change is not uniform. Therefore, in this study, the aims are to reveal the relationship between typological patterns and urban structures from the viewpoint of road network construction by studying the typology of coal mine cities and considering the change numerically and capturing changes in urban structure from the road network and major facilities.
