Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the methods and spatial characteristics of realizing an agricultural space using public space, targeting a "temporary FARM" in Shibuya Ward. The results showed that 1) Shibuya Ward had been actively conducting citizen workshops and experimental events and had steadily built a network with related entities 2) Effective use of various planters with or without keys and of different heights, etc., had been made, 3) The majority of citizens had a positive view of the introduction of agricultural space. Since there are some objections due to some misunderstandings, it is necessary to continue to actively disseminate information to citizens toward this installation.
