Analyses on the Business Trips by Truck Considering the Difference in Mechanism among Industry Sectors

Abstract

This study is a first step of a research that finally aims at developing the measurement method of the effect of improvement. This study especially focuses on the business trip as it is greatly affected by road network development Here, business trip is classified by sector, and the difference of the trip characteristic among sectors is clarified. A model which expresses the OD distribution of business trip is proposed Using “road traffic census OD data” of two points in time, parameters of OD distribution method by sector are estimated, and the difference among industry sector are examined.
