Abstract
The aim of this study is to confirm the effect of plan make request on the preparedness and awareness to disaster. We conducted an empirical study at a new developed town in Yamanashi prefecture. The result showed that the distribution of plan sheet has significant effect on some behavior, such as confirmation of emergency contact and preparation of emergency necessary goods. Moreover, some of the awareness to disaster were activated by the plan make request. We concluded that the request to plan for disaster is effective to execute less barrier behavior to disaster preparedness.
