Abstract
Recent anatomical, physiological and clinical investigations appear to have been focussed in the interesting role of the limbic system in the emotional behavior. More recently, hippocampal and amygdaloid connections have been determined by Green and Adey (1) and Gloor (2) using the electrophysiological methods.
In our laboratory, Takagi et al. (3) have reported the effect of psychotropic drugs on the several afferent pathways of central nervous system of the cat.
The experiments reported here were undertaken in an attempt to clarify the mode of action of several psychotropic drugs on the limbic system, especially Qn the afferent and efferent pathways of the hippocampus.
