Production of Cyclohexanone by liquid Phase Oxidation of Cyclohexane

Abstract

In order to establish the commercial process for production of cyclohexanone by liquid phase oxidation, the experiments were performed using both an autoclave and a pilot plant with a tower type reactor.
The resulting factors of the two methods which compared proved the composition of reaction products almost identical when the both reactions were at the same rate.
