Difference in Reflective Thinking between Yogo Teachers and Classroom Teachers in Corresponding Scenes with Junior High School Students

Abstract

【Objectives】

 The purpose of this study was to find out the feature and difference in reflective thinking between Yogo teachers and classroom teachers, and to suggest them the way to work together in controlling the health condition of junior high school students.

【Methods】

 Participants were eight Yogo teachers and seven classroom teachers. Data were gathered through on-line and off-line monitoring methods. On-line-monitoring, that was told while watching the VTR, shows reflection in actions. Off-line-monitoring, that was told after watching the VTR, shows reflection on actions.

【Results】

 1. Reflective thinking of both Yogo teachers and classroom teachers were made of following six components; Attention, Impression, Empirical knowledge, Question, Reasoning and Decision.

 2. Yogo teachers had been considering on the school environments during the reflection in actions.

 3. Yogo teachers had been considering on the way to make the scenes of VTR more clearly during the reflection in actions.

 4. Yogo teachers had been considering Reasoning and Empirical knowledge much more than other components during the reflection on actions.

 5. Classroom teachers had been considering on the classroom teacher in the VTR during the reflection in actions.

 6. The components pattern of reflection in action were different from them on action, for classroom teachers.
