Abstract

The television has become a practical and clinical tool in urology. The three fields of activity defined for this equipment (1) operation, (2) endoscopy, (3) fluoroscopy. The better results are obtained by the color television at the case of operation and cystoscopy.
By the combination of the videcon camera and image intensifier, the image on the cathodluminescent screen of the image intensifier was taken by videcon tube and final image was transmitted to other television viewing tube at 120 meters distance from the radiation source.
This instrument seems to be the most useful method for research, teaching and the protection of patient and physician from excess radiation. But there still remain some technical problems for further researches.
The obstruction of urinary tract is the chief predisposing factor to bacterial invation, therefore the fluoroscopy of urinary tract will be greatly recommended. This instrument is the best way to perform the fluoroscopy and visual instrumentation of the urinary tract with safety.
The findings about the upper and lower urinary tracts by the kinefluorography were refered.
