Electropyelogram (EPG) and electroureterogram (EUG) were simultaneously recorded in a patient of congenital hydronephrosis, with a resultant fact that a relationship between EPG and EUG in the patient of this disease was generally the same as in normal cases.
The morphologic examination of the hydronephrosis suggested that the most important point for successful pyeloplasty was to make a funnel-shaped renal pelvis. The operative procedure is also described.
