20aHC-3 Experimental study of Li- and H-ion local modes in Li oxides

Abstract

To confirm the existences of LiO- and Li_2O-modes near 2900 cm^<-1> and 2500 cm^<-1> at room temperature, we measured infrared transmission spectra of several kinds of Li-ion oxides. Based on the spectra, we discuss the existence of those modes with respect to the crystal structures and coupling of local mode with mobile Li-ion.
