A Temperature Calibration for Laser-heated Diamond-anvil Cell under Pressure

Abstract

In this experiment, we heat gold foil which is under pressure and observe melting tendencies and the value of pressure, laser-power, and temperature from radiation pyrometer. We then plot the graphs of laser-power versus pressure and compare them with established experimental results of temperature versus pressure graphs of gold melting under pressure.
