The nonlinear coupling between fast and slow dust-acoustic waves in dusty plasmas hasbeen considered.The multi-fluid equations have been used to derive a set of equations whichis useful for studying the three-wave decay interaction as well as the modulational instabilityof the fast dust-acoustic waves
