Abstract

Anomalous behavior of Tc of the superconductor/superconductor multilayer system, NbTi/Nb was quantitatively analyzed applying an advanced approximation for the proximity effect. The observed minimum of Tc as a function of the structure wavelength λ was suggested to come from the combined effects of Tc degradation of the Nb sublayer and interdiffusion of Nb and Ti atoms through the boundary.
