Abstract

Cyclotron resonance (CR) measurements on a single crystal of CeSb have been performed at temperatures between 1.6 K and 10 K in the frequency range from 50 to 110 GHz. We have successfully observed several CR absorption lines at low temperatures. For magnetic fields in the [001] direction, the determined effective masses are between 0.3 and 1.5m₀.
