Abstract
A proposal from the viewpoint of the correlation length is given for the divergence of the viscosity coefficient in the Rayleigh–Bénard convection. The divergence of the time integral for the two-time correlation function for the momentum flux is attributed to the increase of the correlation length. The divergence is assumed to occur when the correlation length becomes longer than the system size.
